Did you know that the only parable that The Lord explicitly
orders (Matt 24:32,Mark 13:28) us to learn is The Parable of
The Fig Tree ? it starts in Genesis and runs through Revelation...
follow the citations and check the CONTEXT of the verses...are you
aware of the horticulture of the fig? the following are all the verses
of His Word that contain fig.....
Gen 3:7
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they
were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made
themselves aprons.
[apples don't show up 'til Deut 32 (The Song of Moses)... they sewed
FIG LEAVES to make APRONS not apple leaves to cover their mouths

Num 13:23
23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a
branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a
staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
