Blind Tradition

"Blindness" (the state of being) and "the blind" are specifically mentioned at least 19 times in the Gospels; if we look to the O.T. many examples of both sightedness and blindness are cited.

Strongs Heb. "seeing" 6493 piqqeach pik-kay'-akh from 6491; clear-sighted; figuratively, intelligent:--seeing, wise. see HEBREW for 06491
Strongs Heb. "blind" 5787 `ivver (iv-vare'); intensive from 5786; blind (literally or figuratively): KJV-- blind (men, people).!! ***. `owreb. See 6159.

Eccl 1: 7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again. 8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. 9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. (KJV)

We may well heed the Prophet Daniel (called a Prophet by Christ Himself) as he interprets the dream of Nebuchadnezzar (called "a servant of God" in The Word):

Dan 2: 36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. 37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. 39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. 46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. 47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. (KJV)

".... iron and clay" these are the times in which we live. Whether it be the iron of the corporate state or the clay mire of the welfare state, neither has the justice and peace of God's Kingdom.; at this juncture in the history of (so-called)civilisation it is blatently obvious that without the intervention of Christ Jesus, all the efforts of man to solve the problems of this world are but vanity (emptiness); after all that man says and does:

Eph 6: 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (KJV)

Perhaps the greatest vanity of all is man's delusion that he can accomplish "peace and justice" on his own behalf. All these utopian (from the Greek 'utopos' meaning "no such place") dreams are placed into the cultural psyche by the clever manipulations of satans hidden dynasties- religion, education, politics, entertainment and economics.

Contrast the two different Greek words that are both translated as "transform".

IICorinthians11: 13 For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming [3345] themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 Did not Satan marvelously transform [3345] himself into an angel of light? 15 It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform [3345] themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.(LITV)

Romans12: 2 And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed [3339] by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.(LITV)

Strong's #3345 metaschematizo (met-askh-ay-mat-id'-zo); from 3326 and a derivative of 4976; to transfigure or disguise; figuratively, to apply (by accommodation): KJV-- transfer, transform (self).
Strong's #3339 metamorphoo (met-am-or-fo'-o);
from 3326 and 3445; to transform (literally or figuratively, "metamorphose"): KJV-- change, transfigure, transform.

a note to my brethren who travail neath the pre-trib yoke, meditate on this:

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (KJV)

Ask What is being withstood and when !?
"...that evil day" is yet to come; if we are to "withstand" then those of us who still are living in this world, are not going to be "flown away" unless it is the flight of fancy into the wedding bed of the false bridegroom.
For truely it is written:

Rev 6:12-17 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV)

It is satan's hope that he and his ministers will be able to peddle the sixth trumpet as the seventh to those who are blinded by biblical illiteracy and/or ego involved in the traditions of "churchianity".

Eph 2:1-3 1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (KJV)

I Jn 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV)
