prefix) it usually denotes separation, departure, cessation, completion, reversal, etc.

To whom, when, where and about what is this revelation?

We start with chapter 1: Rev.1:9-12

What do these candlesticks represent ?

Whom, when, where ? John was taken in the spirit from the isle of Patmos to The Lord's Day, which is in our future. The language is highly symbolic yet cuts away (illuminates) the darkness like a "two edged sword".
The symbolic language of The Bible is often explained in the text itself.

Basically a candlestick. is a source of illumination; so it is that our Lord tells John to take a message to the seven churches (being geographically in seven different parts of the ancient world). Keeping in mind that The Lord is addressing both the Churches of John's time and our times as well, from the future, we see these churches as types of His church in our earth age.

Rev 1:20
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Of the seven churches addressed in chp.2-3, which two were NOT admonished ? Why ?

  • The church in Smyrna
    Rev 2:8-11

    8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
    9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
    10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
    11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

    Not rich in the "treasures" of this (physical) world but infinitely rich in the Spirit. Bound not for fluffy fly away "rapture", but to stand against satan (the bogus messiah, the "instead of" Christ) as the bearers of the testimony of The Holy Spirit. Mark 13:11-13

  • The church in Philadelphia
    Rev 3:7-13

    7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
    8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
    9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
    10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
    11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
    12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
    13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

    If your church cannot claim the characteristics of Smyrna and/or Philadelphia, if your teachers are not teaching our Father's Word, chapter by chapter, verse by verse... if your preacher tells you that Revelation is not relevant to you because "God's gonna fly you away before the tribulation".... You are being whored off to the wrong "bridegroom". Ezek.13:19-23

    What is "the synagogue of satan" in verses 9 of Rev2 (Smyrna) & Rev3 (Philadelphia) ?

    First of all, the synagogue of satan does not exist de jure until the 6th trump; at that time satan will establish his "synagogue" (congregation of worshipers) here on earth. It will consist of his fallen angels, those of his spiritual and/or physical offspring that choose to worship him (knowing that he is satan), and the vast majority, biblically illiterate "Christians" and those of other persuasions who believe this fraud to be the true messiah. John 8:39-44 This is NOT our brother Judah ! (although this seed does hide in his midst as convenient, giving brother Judah much trouble).

    Then there are those who, calling themselves Christians, don swastikas and/or pillowcase (contoured) headgear and literally scare brother Judah into the arms of satan's children; these (sic) folks are a satanic manifestation set up to divide and mislead God's children. Satanic ? Without doubt ! They either have not read, or choose to ignore:

    Let us examine what the Lord teaches about this "bad seed", this serpent's seed.

    Matt 13:36-49
    36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
    37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
    38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
    39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
    40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
    41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
    42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
    43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
    44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
    45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
    46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
    47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
    48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
    49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

    Whose job is it to accomplish this severance ? God's angels, not man !
    What matters is the spiritual, and not the physical inheritance.

    Ezek 47:21-23
    21 So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
    22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
    23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

    Rom 11:22-24
    22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
    23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
    24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

    Who (or what) are the famous "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" ?

    The "Four Horsemen" are enumerated in chapter six of Revelation:

    Rev 6:1-2
    1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
    2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

    The first rider is mounted on a white horse; this is NOT the same horse as written in chapter 19 (has no crown but one that is given and the  "bow"  is not the glorious Bow of Light that emanates from the Throne but a plain old (G.I.?) standard issue type.

    Many of the biblically semi-literate will, to their great chagrin, mistake this rider for our Lord.  Rev19:11-16  Their pastors will answer for their false teachings and/or they themselves bear responsibility for their "off-hand" treatment of The Word of God.

    Rev 6:3-4
    3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
    4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

    Rev 6:5-6
    5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
    6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

    Here is the economic agenda brought forth by the machinations of the serpent and his evil seed; a measure of wheat or three of barley, enough to feed a man for a day. A penny was the common day's ordinary wages. Can you imagine having to work an entire day just to earn enough to barely subsist ? Have you checked the prices in the supermarkets lately ? If you have the annointing of The Word, if you have washed in His Blood, you are safe from this harm.(a word to the wise is to accumulate about a six month backlog of staples.)

    Rev 6:7-8
    7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
    8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

    Revelation 15 speaks of the "Song of Moses"; what is this song and where may it be found ?

    Rev 15:1-3

    1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
    2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
    3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

    The Song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32)is the saga of the struggle 'twixt God's children and those of the devil. See Matthew 13:36-43 (above ^) ... if you do not know at least the essence of this song, you are probably not going to be among those who have (at the time of the pouring out of the 7th (final) vial) victory over the beast.

    This will be further discussed shortly.
